socio- cultural, economic, and political factors. You may also use a personal
case or one from the required book. You will choose your own case either from
required book, personal experience, or other sources. In your case study, you

address the needs and challenges presented in the case example. You will select

Provide specific examples of how each competency can be utilized
within the context of the case example to promote positive outcomes and empower
individuals or communities. Again, choose 3 competencies from above.
Length
of assignment: no more than 2 pages double spaced. Excluded from the length
include: title page, abstract, and reference section
Paper
must be in APA format with no more than 4 citations from the required book of
Healy and Link. In addition, acceptable sources can also be from scholarly
articles published within the last five years. Student will describe the background, demographics, and
socio-economic status of the individual(s) or communities involved. Outline the
presenting issues, challenges, or needs faced by the individuals or communities
in the case. Ensure that the case example reflects realistic scenarios relevant
to international social work practice, such as poverty, displacement,
migration, human rights violations, cultural adaptation, etc. (this is no more
than one page). Include the integration of Social Work competencies and how they
fit with your case.
Documentation and Formatting
Present your assignment in a clear and organized manner, ensuring
that it is well-written and free of grammatical errors. Use appropriate
headings, subheadings, and formatting to enhance readability. Use literature,
research findings, or theoretical frameworks related to international social
work practice.
