Choose a topic or item of interest that relates to Enterprise Resource Planning and Control.  This can be from printed media such as an article (or articles) from a journal or other publication, from a company or enterprise website, or from a detailed company report.  The topic or item simply has to relate to ERP and/or enterprise systems.  Media that relates to ERP implementation, ERP success stories, ERP failures, ERP components, ERP vendors for large/medium/small entities are all valid topics, as are media that describes the various ERP modules, hardware/software, interconnectivity, relational database structure, etc.  You may even wish to speak with a company of your choosing concerning their system integration strategies/efforts if you have access to those resources in your community.  Recent information is probably more pertinent (say, in the last three years) than older information; unless, of course, you are writing about some historical aspect of ERP.  You could also create a project that focuses on learning something new about the various ERP software packages that are available to the general public.  At the beginning of the course, we looked at a number of websites that provided information about the various ERP software offerings and found that there were over 400 unique vendors!  You could further refine each of these offerings by industry, manufacturing mode, company size, technology, etc.  Feel free to explore and report on one of these.
You must include Notes for each slide that describe the information that you are trying to convey in the slide.  The slides themselves contain the bullet points of your talk while the Notes of each slide provide the detail of what you would be saying if you were to present your topic in class.  Your text in the Notes section of each slide must be in sufficient detail that an individual reviewing your presentation could understand your presentation if you were presenting it live and in person, i.e. information rich content.  Also, be sure to include a full list of references at the end of your presentation.
