View the movie clip from 7 Years in Tibet (Youtube- Innocent Worm 4.38) Watch for any instance of a concept or principle from Chapter 2. Identify one concept or principle from the module readings that you see portrayed in the video clip, and explain how it is shown. Provide the time of the clip where it starts and the time where it ends. By Friday, read your peers’ work. Choose one peer who does not yet have a response. Reply to them by taking the concept they identified and giving an example of how you have seen that concept work or fail in communication. Be specific in your example without sharing anything too personal or disclosing peoples’ names. Give your classmates a clear understanding of what happened. Show them you understand the concept. Note: If no one shares a concept you have witnessed in success or failure, respond to a peer by saying as much and then sharing an example of another concept or principle from Chapter 2 instead. In-text citations are required. Please add full citations at the end of your post. Remember: You want to create a fully developed response with a logical flow rather than a list of responses to the set of prompts. You may or may not want to respond in the order they are listed here. By Sunday, return to your original post and see the example a classmate shared about the concept or principle you identified. Now, take that classmate’s example and describe how things could have gone the other way. That is, if they posted an example where the concept was successful, tell how it could have failed. If they shared an example where the concept failed, tell how it could have been a success. What would have needed to happen? You won’t know all the details of the situation, so make reasonable assumptions and interpret the experience. The idea is to consider how the application of the concept or principle in real life – or the lack thereof – can affect situations, relationships, and so forth. I attempted to attach chapter 2.
