1: Executive Summary:  My Personal Leadership Mission/Vision/Values
This week, reflect on who you are as a leader.  Craft your own personal mission/vision/values statement that will introduce your leadership portfolio.
A mission statement consists of a few (one to three) sentences that explain your reason for being, your philosophies, your goals. Search the internet for example mission statements prior to writing your own.
A vision statement describes what you will “look like” in the future.  It is based off your mission, but projects your aspirations for how you will grow and develop.
The values statement is simply an explanation of those attributes you value most.  These are your core beliefs about how you should “be” and “act.” It is not a code of conduct; rather, it provides a basis for your ethical code.  Include why you value these attributes the most as well.
