The Papadopoulos have three children; a 3 year old girl called Selene, an 11 year old girl called Phoebe and a 16 year old boy called Basil. Mr Papadopoulos seems to work or be away from home quite a lot during the day, but he is an active parent within the family. Mrs Papadopoulos is a full time home maker. Selene spends all day at home with her mother. There is some concern about developmental delay, this could be a result of her not having the opportunity to play or interact with other children around her age. Basil has his first girlfriend, he is beginning to push the boundaries by staying out late at night and he has recently been bought home by the police having been found under the influence of drinking and possessing a small amount of cannabis. their father has made contact with his local Early Help Team, asking for some support for himself and his wife in managing adolescent behaviour. He says that life was very different since they moved to the UK from Greece and he is concerned about his children and the stress it is causing his wife.
