You client was in a car accident with another individual, from Memphis, TN while on the Interstate 40 bridge with a driver from East Memphis, Arkansas. The accident totaled our client’s vehicle, a 2020 Toyota Highlander, and our client has medical expenses thus far of $25,000.00. Our client is claiming soft-tissue injuries to her neck and back as a result of the accident. The police report indicates that our client was exceeding the speed limit by approximately 5 mph and that the driver from East Memphis, Arkansas was exceeding the speed limit by 25 mph. Both parties are insured by State Farm. The police department responding to the accident was Memphis Police Department.
For purposes of this assignment moving forward we are going to have the case be filed in Federal Court, based upon Diversity Jurisdiction with alleged damages in excess of $75,000.00. These damages include the damages to our clients’ vehicle, injuries, and lost wages by both Mr. & Mrs. John and Jane Doe, our clients. We are alleging, in total, damages of $150,000.00.
This is a Personal Injury case involving a car accident.

The police department responding to the accident was Memphis Police Department.
