This is the A1 summative assessment and has 100 marks allocated to it. Your mark
for this assessment will only count towards 50% of your final mark for this module.
The other 50% will come from A2 summative assessment which will be an exam
after the end of the course.
• Please submit via Turnitin in accordance with the deadline above which applies to
you.
• Failure to submit will result in a nil mark. Late submissions will be capped at 40%
(1 week late) or 0% (more than 1 weeks late) unless an extension has been granted
under the extensions policy.
• Your work must be word-processed or typed.
• Please use double line spacing and leave a margin all around the page.
• Word limit: 2,000 words (2,200 max. including footnotes. Do not put content in
the footnotes which should be part of your analysis as it will not be taken into
account but will count towards your word count)
• Any writing in excess of 2,200 words will not be marked and will not be taken
into account.
• There is no need for references or a bibliography
• Ensure that your work is uploaded as a single document when it has been completed
and ready for submission.
• Please do not indicate your name on your script only your student number.
• Please keep a copy of your work.
• Your work must be word-processed or typed.
• Please submit all your work in 1 single document as Turnitin will only accept a
single document.
• Lengthy footnotes will be counted. Do not put material in the footnotes which
should be in the main text.
