Read, Reflect, Analyze Paper
The Read, Reflect, and Analyze paper is an assignment where you examine and reflect on your thoughts within text. There is a 2-4 page requirement. I am looking for depth and engagement of thought. Also, make sure to prove that you have read your assigned readings by citing required readings within each section of the rubric. APA format should always be followed when structuring your writing in the nursing profession. The following is what I will use to grade your assignment.
Grading will be based on:
Read, Reflect, and Analyze Questions:
1. Questions and Rubric Sections:
a. Discuss the four cardinal virtues in your own life and/or in the lives of persons you know/ love. Identify examples of: prudence, justice, temperance and fortitude. Also provide some reflection upon how persons with these virtues have impacted your choice to become a Nurse. How do the Cardinal virtues apply to your readings? (Worth 25%)
b. What is ethics and how do we as human persons learn about ethics? What is the difference between ethics, morals and laws and how do they fit together? (Worth 25%)
c. Choose one of the philosophical frameworks/values perspectives (within the lecture/supplemental videos) and give an example of how this would be utilized in nursing. How does the ANA/ERD fit into these approaches? (Worth 25%)
d. Depth, engagement, and clarity of reflection and concepts 10%
e. APA/Grammar 15%
