How
in the new age of organizations the relations between leaders and employees are
the key factor to retain talented workforce and remain competitive? The study
explains how authentic
leadership, psychological ownership and job satisfaction constructs are
interrelated by using descriptive and
inferential statistical analysis. It confirms
that psychological
ownership is positively connected with authentic leadership, and transparency
component has higher relationship values with psychological ownership.
Psychological ownership provides higher job satisfaction especially when the
belongingness feelings are amplified. Findings revealed that belongingness feeling has a
strong correlation with job satisfaction. The structural equation model performed
in the research indicated a partial mediating effect of
psychological ownership between authentic leadership and job satisfaction. The
findings confirm the key role of the leaders in projecting ownership feelings
onto followers and assisting their job satisfaction.
