There has been a growing interest in reforming the United State’s prison system. To date there is more information available to help counteract the many misconceptions popular culture has created about who is incarcerated and what their experience is like.
One great example of this trend is Ear Hustle, a podcast produced at San Quentin State Prison, that “…brings you the daily realities of life inside prison shared by those living it, and stories from the outside, post-incarceration.”

Then choose 2 additional episodes to listen to….the additional episodes can be from any season. Then write a 2-3 page paper about the podcast. What did you enjoy and learn about the podcast. Your grade will mainly be based on your response to the 3 episodes that you listened to and relating the information back to the textbook, and other topics we discussed this semester.
Make sure in your paper to include the season number and episode for each podcast that you listen to. Make sure to cite the podcast, your textbook, and at least one scholarly source.
