Additional information should appear in bullet-point format. To be clear, I want MEANINGFUL additional information. I don’t want trivia you found using google. It should be based on the lectures and readings, and should reflect why the individual, event, etc., in question is of interest to historians. These should be formatted as bullet-points; try to be concise, but make sure you provide enough detail that the relationship is clear.
To give an example, if, say, the answer to a question was “Alexander the Great,” additional information might include:
Was the son of Phillip II of Macedonia
Was tutored by Alexander the Great
Established a Hellenistic Empire from Greece to India
Decisive battle in defeating the Persians was the Battle of Gaugamela, in 331 B.C.E.
Not earning you points would be birth dates, death dates, favorite color, height (unless this is somehow really significant, but you would need to indicate how), how one time in his youth, Alexander saved an upside-down turtle (I made that up)… in short, I’m not looking for “fun facts” here! please add enough information
