Purpose of the Project:
This project has a two-fold purpose:
To help you have a better understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 (or newer version) and the applications.
To provide you with an opportunity to complete a PowerPoint slide presentation of your hometown using Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 (or newer version).
Requirements of the Project:
Each student will individually complete a PowerPoint slide presentation about his/her hometown. It should at least contain the following information:
Introduction
Townships
Geography
People
History
Economy
Culture
Education
Business
Healthcare
Environment
Sports
Entertainment
Attractions
Top 5 things about your hometown
Any other information you would like to include in the PowerPoint slides.
Each student’s project should meet the following requirements and have:
A title slide with the course information and an ending slide to thank the audience.
A minimum of 15 content slides.
Animation effects, visual/sound effects, and slide transition effects.
A hyperlink pointing to an outside source, e.g., a website.
Appropriate pictures.
An embedded video clip.
Content that is presented in a logical order.
Typeface that is legible and easy to read.
Design and layout that contribute to the effectiveness of this PowerPoint presentation.
Grading Criteria:
Grades will be based on the organization, content, quality, and clarity of the PowerPoint slides.

I grew up In Grand Terrace CA on DeBerry St. I went to school at Grand Terrace Elementry, Terrace Hills Middle, and Grand Terrace High School (but later transferred). My hometown is small but is big on community. Its cute & gives chill suberban vibes! Has the best veiw of the city on Blue Mountain! It’s a popular place in GT.
