Prepare two (2) questions related to social justice based on the text you chose.
Write two (2) thesis statements based on the questions you asked (one for each question). What claims can you make about justice given the evidence you have, which is the text you have selected.
Then choose your favorite thesis statement:
Identify at least three (3) quotes from the text one for each point in your thesis.
Write a topic sentence for each point, then provide the quotes, making sure they correspond to your point.
Explain why the quote supports this this point.
Make sure you provide a clear citation using Chicago style author-date. See citation examples below.

This process should indicate if your thesis statement implies a question that can be answered through the text. If not, rethink your questions and revise your thesis statements.
