In a brief written paper, you will assess the processes of early of brain development, and infant and toddler thinking processes based on the resource videos. 1 First, view the video titled How Brain is Built: The Core Story of Brain Development. (Posted Below)
2 View your choice of 2 of the videos from The Baby Human – To Think (posted below). You only need to cite 2 of them, but I bet you watch more. They are fascinating.
3 As you review the resources take notes so that you are able to develop your summary list and personal story reflection.
• Create a bullet point list of 5 mental concepts, mental processing skills, and/or cognitive learning concepts demonstrated by the infants and toddlers in the videos.
• Reflect on your list. Write 1 paragraph describing what you see as the most impressive concept.
• As you do this, think about your cognitive development and make a list of questions to ask relatives for your lifeline paper.
• Add your own personal connection story, based on discussions with a relative, or it may be about your child or young relative.
