SUBMIT A TURNIT IN REPORT OF THE PAPER
Write a 3-5 page paper summarizing and synthesizing research in this area. Each paper should include short summaries of each paper and a discussion of the major conclusions and state of the evidence in this area. What topics were important and common in all of the papers? The paper is a summary and synthesis and not a reaction or opinion piece. There should be a discussion of how the information can be used by clinicians if appropriate. Is evidence converging or diverging in the papers you read? Students should review relevant ASHA resources (e.g., evidence maps, position statements ) AND select 2-3 research articles to learn more about the topic, disorder, line of research or clinician.
