Compose a 4-6 page APA style paper (NOT INCLUDING TITLE PAGE AND REFERENCE PAGE) in which
you detail a child’s development through the lens of one of the major theories that we
discussed this term. Think about a major developmental theory (Like Freud’s
psychosexual stages, Kohlberg’s theory of moral development, Piaget’s theory of
cognitive development, Erikson’s stages, etc.) and explain somebody’s
development through that lens. Just describe a child’s development through one
of the frameworks we have studied this term.
Describe in detail where that person is relative to his/her cognitive, language,
physical, and emotional development. The person can be a real-life historical
person or celebrity, or character from literature. You should discuss the child’s
“present” level of development, what behaviors we should see that child exhibit
given their age, and strategies to help the child move forward in his/her
development should they be delayed in any capacity. All observations and
strategies for improvement should fit into the major theoretical framework that
you are using (such as, Freud, Vygotsky, etc.). Do not use yourself or a person
you know as your subject.
The paper must be written in 12-point Times New Roman font and be double-
spaced. This paper will require some research, so citing in-text is essential and
required. Proper APA format must be followed.
