APA Themes: Discuss how your research question relates to at least one APA theme.
Literature Review: Summarize key findings from 2 peer-reviewed research journal articles relevant to your research question.

Measurement: Define and explain how the study measures the variables
Independent Variable (IV): The variable manipulated or controlled by the researcher
Dependent Variable (DV): The variable measured or observed to determine the effects of the independent variable.
Control Variables (CVs): Other variables that might influence the relationship between the independent and dependent variables, which need to be controlled or accounted for (e.g., age, gender, etc.).
Sample: Specify the population of interest and how you will select a sample (how many participants, how you will recruit participants, how you will ensure representativeness).
Research Design: Review Chapter 1 of the e-text for details on experiments, descriptive studies, and correlational designs. Also, describe whether the study is quantitative or qualitative and how you propose to collect data to measure the variables
Quantitative: e.g., surveys, experiments, observations and the instruments or tools used for measurement.
Qualitative: e.g., interviews, focus groups, content analysis and any protocols or guidelines for data collection.
Ethical Considerations: Discuss any ethical concerns related to the research study, including informed consent, confidentiality, potential risks to participants, and steps taken to mitigate these risks.
Limitations: Identify any potential limitations or constraints of the study, such as sample biases, methodological limitations, or external factors that may impact the results.
4. Significance and Applications: Explain the broader significance of your research and its potential real-world applications based on the definition and goals of psychology.
5. References: Provide a list of references cited in the research design, including relevant literature and theoretical frameworks. Use appropriate in-text citations as you write about the various aspects you learned from the e-text and the research articles.
Submission Guidelines
Length: 1000 words total minimum.
References: Cite your two peer-reviewed research journal articles – follow the APA 7 style guide.
