Respond to the following questions in your initial post, with appropriate headings. What do you love and what do you feel is your “life’s task” calling? Provide an example of something you worked on that was a step on your Mastery journey towards your life’s task. Share a positive and a negative example of what you learned from that experience. Cite (using the APA format) and explain one of the 7 Deadly Realities from Greene’s book, and how it could impact your ability to develop mastery in your field. A big step in the Mastery Journey is finding mentors, networking and apprenticeship opportunities. For your response post you will conduct research to assist your classmates along their journey. Identify a classmate who has not yet received a response when you return to the board. Research a recommendation or two of an industry organization, industry publication, possible mentor(s), or a specific company that would be an exceptional resource to your classmate along their Mastery journey. Respond to your classmate using the RISE Model by sharing an example of how you related to the classmate’s reflections. As a guide for high quality response posts, students must use the RISE model, which encourages the steps as outlined in the rubric. The RISE Model – Your post should be composed of 4 paragraphs, with headings, corresponding to the 4 elements of the RISE Model (Reflect, Inquire, Suggest & Elevate) as below: Reflect: To recall, ponder, and communicate Inquire: To seek information and/or provide ideas through questioning Suggest: To introduce ideas for improvement of current iteration Elevate: To raise to a higher degree or purpose of future iterations For more information about the RISE Model of meaningful feedback, visit www.risemodel.com.
