Ability to communicate orally and in writing in order to maintain contact with parts and fuel suppliers, to coordinate activities with other supervisors, to provide advice and instruction on vehicle maintenance matters. 8. Ability to supervise environmental and recycling programs to ensure compliance with local and national regulations and standards and maintain associated reports. 9. Ability to prepare and maintain reports and records related to vehicle maintenance shop operations and performance. 10. Ability to supervise stockroom operations, including the requisitioning of parts, equipment and supplies. 11. Ability to identify and ensure that vehicle maintenance training needs are met.
