Field Experience
Students are required to complete 2 hours of face-to-face time in an elementary education classroom. Students may observe an entire 2 hours in a full day, or the amount of time can be distributed over several days. Students are encouraged to observe more than one grade level at the elementary level. Students will need to write a reflection about their experience, share at least 3 teaching strategies they observed during their field experience, and make connections to the topics (e.g., diverse classrooms, using great resources, assessing Student learning, geography, and literacy-social studies connection)
