Progress – Ongoing/Long-term
I have made progress in enhancing the collaborative environment in my team. Being open, ready to listen, transparent and vulnerable are few of the qualities that need to be practiced enhancing true collaboration between team members. Being self-aware also plays a crucial role. Being open, truthful and transparent while also being empathetic is really important. Different team members perceive things differently and respond in their own unique ways. Understanding their nature and being self-aware helps responding to them appropriately, which increases their trust and commitment for the team. People come and go in the team; hence this is an ongoing process that needs continuous adaptation. With the learning in this course, I feel confident that I will be able to maintain and improve related leadership behaviors. This course also helped me in developing tools to measure and track these behaviors.
