Final Paper (5-6 pages) – Students will explore a theme of their choice using any text, or multiple texts, studied so far this semester. Students must use at least six (6-8) quotes from the primary source and at least one quote from each of two (2) different secondary texts, for a total of eight (8) quotes minimum and an assignment of 6 plus works cited pages total. Helpful details will follow in the individual modules, so you should read them carefully. This paper. A WORKS CITED PAGE and in-text citations are required. The paper should have a central thesis that is present in the opening paragraph that connects the texts, or ideas, using an original argument: this type of argument should not be immediately obvious from reading the text. SOURCES MAY NOT DERIVE FROM SCHMOOP/SPARKNOTES/ OR OTHER WEBSITES OF THE TYPE. All sources must be “scholarly” and derive from academic databases, books, or .edu websites. MLA OR APA FORMAT REQUIRED!
