GENERAL APPEARANCE: female in acute distress and severe pain
HEAD, EYES, EARS, NOSE, THROAT (HEENT): within normal limits; eyes: anicteric;
pupils equal, round, and reactive to light and accommodation (PERRLA); nose: no
discharge; mouth/throat: moist membranes, no lesions
CHEST: lung clear in all fields; S1S2, no murmurs, gallops, or rubs
ABDOMEN:soft,diffusetenderness
SKIN:norashes
EXTREMITIES:rangeofmotion(ROM)×4,nojointpainorswelling

INSPECTION:nomassesorthrillsnoted;nodiscolorationandskiniswarmtothe
touch; no tattoos or piercings; abdomen is nondistended and round

noted on light palpation, deep palpation reveals no masses, spleen and liver unremark-
able
