You should discuss, at minimum, two different theories/applications and examine and evaluate the outcome and the limits of their application.
This exercise will help you develop the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources, including linguistic theory and case studies from professional practice in applied linguistics. You will apply your knowledge of linguistic theory in order to evaluate and assess current work in the field. It also aims to encourage you to explore the broader value of your degree, specifically in terms of employability, to think widely about the transferable skills you have gained over the course of the degree, such as summarizing, and presenting a clear argument or critique, and to begin to build strong arguments in defence of those skills.”
