You are going to build a midterm by creating essay questions (with answers) and multiple choice questions (with the correct answer indicated and a reference to where the content for the question comes from) based on the readings and videos from each of the following focus areas.
1. Cyberpsychology’s roots module and Contemporary psychology module
2. Research in cyberpsychology
3. Information processing, attention, and higher order cognitive processes
4. Social Cognition: Self, Identity, Impression Management, and Emotions
5. Attitudes and social influence
6. Our developing selves
The essay questions should be answerable in several sentences (50-200) words.
You will be responsible for generating 1 essay questions for each of the six focus areas (with sample correct answers) and 10 multiple choice questions for each focus area (with explanations of why the correct answer is correct).
Note the following regulations for this exercise:
1. no T/F for the multiple choice
2. You can include images in your questions or answers if you want to
3. you cannot use generative AI to create questions
4. You cannot reproduce questions from test banks or elsewhere. The work needs to be your original
5. An explanation for why the correct answer is correct cannot be simply “because”. Some ways to generate explanations could be 1) give an example; 2) elaborate on the answer; 3) explain why the other answers are incorrect.
Your grade for this assignment will be based on the following:
The quality of your questions
The completeness of your essay answers and multiple choice answer explanations
The breadth of coverage
How well the questions reflect the content delivered in the readings and videos for each associated module
