The summative signature assignment is a 10-12 page Personal Worldview Paper which will articulate the following:
(1) a coherent definition of worldview and explanation of the importance of worldview study;
(2) 3-5 personal worldview questions to help recognize and define worldviews
Is worldview truly a matter of the heart or the experiences we go through?
What is the basic problem/obstacle that keeps you from findinf fulfillment?
If life is all about learning, when it comes to making a decision, is there truly a right or wrong path?
(3) a robust explication of the student’s personal worldview by answering their own worldview questions; and
(4) proof that their articulated worldview stands up to scrutiny.
Students must use no fewer than five sources, of which no more than two may be online resources. The Personal Worldview Paper is due at the end of Week 8 and must be submitted as a typed Word document, double-spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font, using APA (latest edition) formatting.
