The Learning Portfolio (LP) is an assessment to see how you have used and assimilated information over the course of the module and also for you to see how you develop as a leader. Therefore, the focus is mainly on personal development and critical reflection.
You will write journal entries of 400-500 words on Leadership in the 21st century to consider how your understanding of leadership is developing and evolving.
Each entry should consider:
What are the most meaningful or significant elements of the module so far- this could include videos or concepts covered in the weekly content or personal research conducted to answer questions? Is there anything that you have found particularly useful or interesting?
How has the information that you have discussed in class, researched and read helped you to understand the type of leader that you are and the leadership skills that you have developed?
Have your ideas and views of leadership changed? Have you found any leadership stories inspiring or motivating?
How will you apply what you have learnt in the future? For example, this could include job applications and interviews, in your future career or in other modules?
