Syllabus guidance
In today’s increasingly complex workforce, leaders must create environments in which positive things happen and inspire others to contribute at their highest levels. Leaders not only serve as change agents who guide, transform, and bring out the best in their employees to achieve extraordinary results, they also understand the importance of self-reflection and challenging their own assumptions.
Through this assignment, you will develop a greater awareness of why organizations change, and the roles leaders and managers perform within the process, confidently identify leadership blind spots
and opportunities for further development, and challenge leadership biases and develop insight into new leadership skills. Using the references provided, and others you may find, you will write a 1,000-word essay about leadership in modern organizations.
