Review the 5th Edition Task List Rating Scale provided and choose one domain within the task list (A–H) to self-assess. Identify the domain that you assessed (e.g., B: Concepts and Principles), and report the results of that self-assessment. Next, review the Performance Diagnostic Checklist (PDC) from the Carr & Wilder (2016) article. Select one task list item in need of support from your chosen domain, operationally define it as noted on the PDC, and use the checklist to evaluate your target behavior. Provide a brief summary of the results of your PDC and identify the areas of intervention (p. 3 of the PDC) that correlate with your results. Finally, reflect upon how this process may have provided insight into using an assessment-based approach towards teaching and learning skills identified through the assessment process.
