RESEARCH PROJECTS
1. PRODUCTION ASSIGNMENT ON A DIVERSITY THEME
a) A true or partially made-up NEWS STORY, or
b) an ADVERTISEMENT, or
c) a PRESS RELEASE (made up, but from a real organization)
with one, only one, visual element: photo, graphic, visual art, or video.
You will work in pairs, assigned by me at the end of week 1.
450 words (+/- 30 words)
Check out a Media Writing textbook on how to write a news story, an ad, or a press release.
If you choose a), you must clearly state whether it is true, or, if not, which parts of it are made up.
This is not a research paper, so no list of references is needed.
