Issue 1.
Module 1 discussed many aspects we could use to define the USA, including the concept of Quality of Life. (Note; this is not the same as standard of living, which is usually closely related to (if not identical) with specific economic measurements, like GDP per person.)
Use your favorite search engine to find rankings for Quality of Life 2023. Choose the site that most appeals to you and list:
The country rated as having the highest quality of life.
The rating the USA received.
One aspect of that went into the quality of life rankings that you feel is indeed very important and one that you don’t think is valid.
The address of the site you used. (When on the site, you can place your cursor over the url (web address), right-click, select “copy”, then paste the info in your assignment to create a link.
Remember, anytime you use a measure of a country, it is an approximation or average… the richest country in the world will have someone who is poor, and the happiest country will have someone who is miserable. Nevertheless, they can be illustrative and interesting.
