To create a comprehensive lesson plan using the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, with an emphasis on meeting the diverse needs of special education students. This assignment will help you develop the skills necessary to design inclusive and effective lessons.
Directions:
Part 1: Introduction (10 points)
In this section, provide an introduction to your lesson plan. Describe the grade level, subject, and specific learning objectives for the lesson. Include the following:
– Grade Level and Subject: Clearly state the grade level and subject of the lesson.
– Lesson Goal: Specify the learning objectives for all students, emphasizing how they address the needs of special education students. Part 2: Pre-Plan For Assessment (10 points)

– Devils Advocate: A GREAT teacher will always reflect and be her/his own worst critic. You are to act as if the lesson went pretty well, but there is obviously room for improvement. Create 3 scenarios as to what happened or potentially could have gone wrong. You are using a “make believe” scenario. Then explain what you will do differently. Remember, you are to use this as part of helping your students with special needs.
