the context of this transfer work, what we have to do is to select two
articles with a quantitative empirical core from one or two journals
given in the table or the link in page ii of the file that I have
forwarded you!
In
the left part of the table given in this page, there are site names

the American Economic Review and I have indicatively chosen to forward

the chosen articles have enough information that can be compared and
contrasted, or analyzed based on the framework provided by the
guidelines (i.e. core message; research methodology; research and/or
conclusion limitations; transferability…), then you may go ahead and
choose the articles.
I
have not forwarded you 2 specific articles, as it is preferrable that
the articles are chosen directly by you, so that you are able to know
directly whether the necessary criteria for comparing and analysing the
articles are also met.
I have also contacted the university and indeed the steps to be
followed are the ones I mentioned in my previous message. Specifically
they replied that the choice of articles is up to each student. If the
chosen articles have enough information that I can compare and contrast,
or analyze based on the framework provided by the guidelines (i.e. core
message; research methodology; research and/or conclusion limitations;
transferability…), then I may go ahead and choose the articles.
My
question is whether you could select the two articles. If it is
something you are undertaking as part of the thesis, it would be better
to be done directly by you, so that you are able to know directly
whether the necessary criteria for comparing and analysing the articles
are also met.
If you cannot undertake this part, then I will try to
select two articles myself and forward them to you, so that you can then
confirm whether the articles are chosen correctly and proceed with the
analysis.
