INSTRUCTIONS
After identifying a need for health promotion, develop a teaching tool appropriate for your current place of employment. (i.e. poster, hand-out, model, etc.).  Make sure that you address the educational needs of different generations in your teaching tool.
Once your idea and tool are approved by your instructor and manager, implement its use.
Make sure you incorporate some kind of evaluation tool to ensure your teaching is effective (questionnaire, teach-back method, etc.)
After use of your tool write a brief paper explaining the tool you developed and the process of developing it. Also address your experience using the tool, positive or negative. Use the rubric to guide your paper.  You can view the rubric by clicking on the link above.
Lastly, turn in a copy of your tool along with your paper. (electronic copy, picture, video, etc.)
Remember to explain in your paper how you evaluated your teaching tool’s effectiveness.
