You have also learned how plain language is a tool that can be used to effectively address health disparities related to health literacy.

Your fact sheet should demonstrate plain language writing and design principles or describe characteristics of a health-literate healthcare organization. Assignment Directions:
Student demonstrates the ability to accurately discuss the following concepts: health literacy, resilience theory, and plain language.
Student’s writing demonstrates an accurate understanding of Federal Plain Language by incorporating 4-5 guidelines or concepts.
Student accurately discusses a health topic of their choice, with no errors or misconceptions.
Student includes at least 3 APA references. No other APA guidelines apply. Fact sheet 2 pages in length
