Identify a hospital where you work, have completed clinical rotations, or that supports your local community. Go to a website (options are listed below, but the list is certainly not all-inclusive) and compare the outcomes measures of that hospital with two other hospitals (can be local, regional or national). Address the following components:

Compare data at the three facilities on any four of the following measures:
Surgical care improvement / surgical infection prevention (pick a sub-section that interests you)
HCAHPS (patient satisfaction)
Pneumonia- either readmission or death rates
ED wait times
Heart Failure
Sepsis
Pain medication times for long bone fractures
Thrombolytics admin times
Summarize the findings in a narrative. What did you learn? Build charts or tables that summarize the narrative.
Select one area where a hospital is worse than the national expectations. Develop a plan for improvement- use best practices- this will require references!
The paper should include a 3-4 page narrative and the charts in an appendix.
