ASSIGNMENT 3: INNOVATION & CREATIVITY                                 (190 Points)
Due Week 8: Wednesday, June 26
OPTION 1: Personal Professional Development to Positively Impact & Grow Practice
Through attendance and participation in weekly “X” (formerly Twitter*) Chats, broaden your conversations surrounding the topics addressed throughout our course, especially innovation and creativity, though those topics are quite broad and can encompass many aspects of the course overall.
Process:
Study the list of Education X (Twitter) Chats linked below (alternatively, research “Twitter Chats” that pertain to topics of professional interest). Select talks that connect to our course themes and are of interest to you.
Attend at least 5 education-related X Chats, they can be the same #, or a variety of them.
If you do not currently have an account with “X,” please use your CSP email to set one up.
Please remember, some chats are weekly, some monthly, consider spreading this piece out over the 8 weeks of class.  (Your active participation in “Chats” is  encouraged, though not required. If you post, please include our class #CSP525 in your posts/”tweets” so we can learn from you too).
New to the concept of Chats? Please see our tutorials under “Resources.”
Journal your experiences, takeaways, where you see extensions of our course themes, and how this PD will inform your teaching and personal professional development going forward. Include relevant links and resources.
Reflect and connect: How will the content shared through the Twitter Chats inform your teaching? Your ongoing personal professional development? Which of our course themes do you identify in the content/ideas shared in the Chats?  What articles, studies, or course materials connect to your learning? How does your learning connect to your Program Essential Question?
Format options (select one of the following):
Create a handwritten mind map (or multiple maps) or lists while attending the Chats, then incorporate those images into a typed reflection, links to relevant resources and course content, and works cited in APA format.
Complete this Assignment Template (working sample here – make a copy, edit/customize as desired/inspired).
Type a not-more-than-3 page paper that outlines your collection of experiences, links to relevant resources, and connections to course content.
Regardless of format, include an APA formatted title page/cover slide and works cited reflecting all content (Twitter chats, replacing any “Twitter” reference with “X,” course content, etc) referenced.
Submit the completed paper and notes/template to Blackboard under “Assignment 3.” (Consider uploading all to Google Drive and sharing as links on one document or Slide)
