About the project.
I contacted the professor and he told me that:
• As I mentioned, the assignment should have a bibliographic section
• Its length should be 16000-17000 words in total
• In the research part, we need to have existing data from a company regarding stocks in a number of codes, their movement, when they had to be re-ordered, what sales they had, if there was safety stock, what reservation costs were there, etc., etc.
That is, data processed by inventory management methods
We don’t care what method the company uses, as long as the data is there.
And then in a model that we will choose like EOQ, DSI for example we will put this data and we will compare our results with theirs.
For example, the company, with the way it uses now, may need to order goods every 10 days, have X cost, have shortages until the goods arrive, etc., etc.
