MODULE 14 INSTRUCTIONS
Group Analysis
Team building | Hotel Mirjana – Rastoke
This week we will explore a little further into group dynamics. Over the past 7 years of teaching Communication I have encountered various types of student responses whenever I introduce group work, ranging from elation and joy to anxiousness and downright disapproval. Regardless of student′s reactions one consistent reality remains, an individual′s ability to work well within a group is leading indicator of professional success.
In fact, according to a recent study done by Association of American Colleges and Universities employees rank ″Teamwork and the ability to collaborate with others in diverse group settings″ as the number one most highly sought after learning outcome for potential employees. The next few weeks we will covering group communication. You will be required to complete a survey and to write about your findings as well as analyze your group′s communication style within the context of our text book.
