For this discussion board, think about a case that grabs your interest. It can be a closed, open, or cold case, and it can include crimes of any capacity. For example, you can choose anything from a fraud case to a homicide case. However, you will want to select a case that involves investigation.
For your discussion board post, please answer all the questions below, providing a case synopsis and your opinions/thoughts. You are welcome to include additional information, but your post should include answers to the following questions.
Which case did you choose? Where did the crime(s) take place? Who was involved? Who was charged? What were/are the charges? What is a summary of the case details? What intrigues you about the case? Do you think something in the case should/could have been handled differently? If so, what? If you were assigned the case as an investigator, what additional efforts would you implement?
Your response should be written in complete sentences, organized in paragraphs, and a minimum of 250 words. Include any references you use in APA 7th Edition – I’ve included two APA guides in the Orientation Module. Your references do not require perfection but do require effort.
