Develop a plan for the recruitment of one full time Program
Director for the Spring Semester of 2018.
You may select what type of educational program you are recruiting for,
such as Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography, Magnetic Resonance or
Radiation Therapy. Use the information
you collected when reviewing the standards from the accrediting agencies for
describing the degree required and years of experience. You have a $5,000 budget for the entire
recruitment process and you may not exceed your budget.
Requirements for the project include, but are not limited
to:

describing all recruitment procedures, including advertisement plan, screening procedures, and schedule of
on-campus interview.

cost analysis to include travel, lodging/meals, advertisement, postage, and any other expenses
-Do not use fictional accounting,
all costs must be actual. Research the actual
costs of placing advertisements in local papers or professional journals for
the specific size of the ad you plan to place.
Be sure to include budgeted money for bringing applicants to campus for
interviews (hotel costs, travel, food, etc.).
-layout and content of the advertisement,
rationale for decisions regarding ad placement, target audience, etc.
-Refer
to journals and newspapers for ideas of how to entice applicants to apply to the job and
region you are recruiting for. Be
creative with your advertisement. The advertisement should be constructed for
the actual size
to be placed in the journal, newspaper, etc.
