Below is a brief desсrіption of the tasks to facilitate your choice.

Assignment: Workshop on Congresses Posters (from 24/03/24 to 07/04/24)
This task, which will be opened next March 24, is addressed to evaluate the knowledge you have acquired during the lesson “Communication at Scientific Congress” to prepare a good and nice poster. In addition, this task may help you to prepare and improve your poster for the Ph.D. Students Meeting of the Doctorate School, which usually takes place in May or June (although it is not mandatory to submit the poster for this meeting).
Prepare a poster presenting your thesis project and/or advances. Posters must have DIN A0 size and vertical orientation, but you must submit a PDF file of the poster in this task. We’ll evaluate your posters and we will give recommendations for improving them, where appropriate.
Assignment: Paper submission and review (from 03/04/24 to 02/05/24)
The object of this task, which will be opened next April 3, is to submit a pilot short paper to a proof scientific journal (OJS platform) and to revise two communications of other students. We will ask students about 4 hours dedicated to this task.
The assignment is delivered using the journal platform (you will not use PoliformaT to submit your assignment). We will open a proof journal with several ″special issues″ (one for each category in which we have divided the scientific disciplines). Accessing the website of the journal, you will register as an author and as a reviewer.
As an author, you will submit a proposal of 2-4 sheets, as an extended abstract of your thesis project or the article on which you are working. You can reutilize documents drawn up on the activities and exercises of lessons 2, 3, and 4 of the course (not counted within 4 hours of this activity).
As a reviewer, you will review two submissions from other students. You will use a template for review based on formal aspects, structure, wording, and clarity (not on scientific content). You can base your comments on the knowledge learned in lessons 2, 3, and 4 of the course.

You can also ask questions in the forum tool instead of using chat (the forum sends an e-mail to teachers each time somebody asks a question, but chat does not).

Submission deadline: until April 17
Assignment of reviewers (by the teachers): until April 20
Notification of acceptance to review: until April 25
Finish reviews and select recommendations: until May 2
