Critical Assessment Presentation
Writing reports and analyzing papers is a major part of critical appraisal; however, there will undoubtedly be times in which you will have to communicate your knowledge and understanding verbally and, very likely to someone who does not have all of the skills that you do. To accomplish this, it is often very beneficial to use a slide presentation. For this assignment, you will develop a slide deck corresponding to your chosen article for the Critical Assessment Project.
You must, at a minimum, have 9 slides (one slide per header featured below). You may use as many slides as you need to ensure the content of your paper is understandable. That being said, please be sure that your slides are directly relevant to a greater understanding of the paper. You will have at least 10 minutes to present your paper (no less, but potentially more, depending on class size), but please be aware of the assigned time limit. A grading rubric for this assignment is provided below.
Please feel free to be creative with backgrounds, animations and graphics in your presentation, as long as they add (and do not detract) from viewership. I would recommend using either the Record function in Powerpoint, or simply doing a Screen Recording of the presentation (the software to use will depend on your operating system – reach out if you have questions).
As with the written assignment, to submit, click the header of this assignment and use the upload function.
