CHAD 340 Learning Project:
Please review the syllabus and text book module topics and pick a topic of interest. Identify one way to present the material (power-point, video presentation, term paper, or interview and video record a case worker) and follow the guidelines below. Your due date is the same due date as the corresponding topic in the syllabus. For example, if you chose the topic of poverty, your due date is Monday 02/05/2024. Please title and save your project with your last name and title of project, which is how it will be uploaded in the corresponding week’s module. Projects incorrectly titled will be returned. If you have a MAC, please convert your projects to word compatible documents. The topic of child abuse and/or types of child abuse (child physical abuse, child sexual abuse) are not appropriate topics for the learning project and will not be accepted. Additionally projects used for other classes should not be submitted.
•Write a 3-4 page term paper (double space paper 12 point font) on one of the topics in the syllabus/module. Cite sources using APA guidelines.
Please utilize the coursework to support the presentation of your project (text, readings, and outside articles). Use APA guidelines for citation.
The following sources will not be accepted and should not be cited in the learning project: Wikipedia, Citations from newspapers/magazines (e.g. New York Times, USA Today), citations from unofficial reports (e.g. reports compiled by a small non-profit organization operating locally), unofficial internet websites (only websites of government agencies and established private organizations can be used). If you are uncertain whether or not a particular source of information is acceptable, please consult with me instructor one week prior to its due date.
In addition, you are expected to use APA format to cite your sources, both in the body of your papers and in a “References” section at the end of each written assignment. You can find information on APA format on the following websites:
