Biostatistic Power point Guidelines: For this assignment you will be
asked to select a primary research article from the medical or nursing
literature that uses the statistical tests of linear regression.
This should NOT be one of the articles included in the Grove textbook. You may
find an article by searching the published literature, or perhaps by simply
reviewing one of your favorite nursing or medical journals. This will help us
to a nice review of how the statistical test linear regression are used
in the literature to improve population health.
PowerPoint Outline (Slides) Narration is a MUST, written text should be included in the NOTES
section below the slide. This way the other students can read your feedback in
the notes section.

any info missing you would have liked to have? ·
How did the researcher handle missing data?
Slide 13: Were there any outliers in the data? If so did the
researchers included or rejected them in the analysis?
Slide 14: Clinical Practice (Synthesis). How can we use the
information in this study for clinical practice to improve population health?
Every study will not have something to offer the clinical arena, nor always
have statistically significant information, so use your thinking cap here.
