Your manager, Ms. Paulina Walker, has sent you some notes for a conference she plans to attend in Orlando, Florida. She asks you to research and make reservations for the trip. You should also key an itinerary for her trip.
Open the attached file which contains an email from your manager with notes about the trip.
Using the Internet, research flights for Ms. Walker’s trip. Ms. Walker prefers coach nonstop flights if available. Choose the flights you think are most appropriate, considering the costs and the schedule. Pretend that you have reserved these flights for Ms. Walker. Include the flight information for her itinerary in your Itinerary.
Ms. Walker would like to stay at a hotel near the Orange County Convention Center. Use the Internet to find a hotel near the convention center and to find rooms available and rates. Choose the room and rates you think are most appropriate. Pretend that you have reserved a room for Ms. Walker. Include the hotel information for her itinerary in your itinerary using the confirmation number MH2933X2.
Ms. Walker will need a rental car while she is in Orlando. Use a rental car website to find the costs of a mid-size car. Pretend that you have reserved a car for Ms. Walker. Include the rental information in her itinerary. Use the confirmation number C835LX1.
Using Microsoft Office Word, create an itinerary for Ms. Walker. Use the itinerary in Figure 10-7 as an example. Include the reservation information you found for the flight/airline, hotel, and car rental.
Save the document as Itinerary and submit the Itinerary through this link.
Please remember, an itinerary is an open table like the one you learned in OST 135. It has three columns. Each column has a bolded, call caps, centered title.
All columns are left justified. In the third column you never break a number and continue it on the next line. Move the entire number as one.
***Your itinerary must mirror figure 10-7. All margins, titles, fonts, borders, and italics.***
This itinerary must be on one page. You may adjust your columns to fit the information.
I have the open table already formatted. You need to enter the information correctly.
