Your report will address the following:
Describe one judicial process in the aftermath of that genocide (trials/trial or perpetrator/s, a Truth and Reconciliation Commission proceeding, etc.) Assess the effectiveness of the judicial process in achieving post-genocide justice or/and reconciliation.
Describe one monument or site commemorating this genocide. Discuss the memory narrative represented in the monument/site – what kind of story does it tell and how does it tell it? Assess the effectiveness of the monument as a place of commemoration.
Make recommendations for future justice, reconciliation, and commemoration efforts for this genocide. this is very important
Your submission must include the following:
1. Your written report. You are welcome to include pictures, excerpts of testimonies, or any other additional information of your choice. Make sure to cite your sources of information.
2. A PowerPoint presentation summarising the report and your findings. Plan and design a presentation that you would have prepared if you had to present your report to others. Make sure that you do not just copy-paste the report into a PowerPoint. Prepare a PowerPoint based on and summarising your findings.

It is your responsibility to evaluate whether the information you use in your report is accurate and trustworthy, using the skills and knowledge you gained in your studies. You must adhere to rules of proper academic conduct and cite your sources.
